This public SAFe® for Teams training is complemented by an non-overlapping SAFe® Scrum Master training and is recommended for Scrum Masters in the SAFe® environment who have little or no previous experience with both the SAFe® framework and the Scrum Master role in a scaled agile organisation. This bundle teaches the essential knowledge and skills required to work effectively as a Scrum Master in an Agile Release Train (ART).

The first two days of the bundle focus on an introduction to Lean Thinking, the basics of Scrum and Kanban and the preparation and execution of the PI Planning Event. A practical PI planning simulation shows what it is like when the teams themselves take over the planning and align themselves around common goals in order to create real added value for the customer. This part of the training is offered in a group with different roles from different organisations and industries in the SAFe environment and enables a comprehensive exchange.

In the second part of the bundle, you will receive a target group-orientated deepening of the Scrum Master role in relation to your responsibilities and competencies at the PI Planning Event and the Planning Intervals (PI) in order to plan iterations and goals with a scaled agile team and successfully implement them together in the ART.

After completing this training bundle, you will be well prepared and authorised to obtain not only the SAFe for Teams (SP) but also the SAFe Scrum Master certification (SSM) and take on a central role in the successful implementation of agile principles in your organisation.
